Late of Collooney County Sligo and formerly of Station Road, Portarlington County Laois. It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Margaret who died peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Predeceased by her parents John and Maureen, her brothers Patrick, Eugene and Gerry, her sister Jo (recently deceased). Much loved sister of Lucy, Ròisìn, Peter, Michael and John, adored aunt of her nieces, nephews, grand-nephews. Deeply regretted by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her family, her very good neighbours until recently Brian and Edele Jackson, her best friend Maura Williams and her former nursing colleagues in St John’s Hospital, Sligo.
May Margaret Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.
Margaret’s Requiem Mass will be streamed live on.
