Peacefully at home after a short illness surrounded by her loving family and friend. Predeceased by her husband Johnny, sister Sadie and grandson Eibhan. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Marie, sons Eamonn, Sean, Seamus and Patrick, brothers Sean and Michael. Nanny Peggy was much loved by her grandchildren Shannon, Aaron, Pádraigh, Rachael, Oisín, Áine, Saul, John, Kimi-Rose and Zack. They will hold Peggy dearly in their hearts, forever. Peggy will always be remembered by her daughters-in-law Theresa, Elaine, Patricia and Sinéad and son-in-law Tony whom were welcome with open arms into the Whelan family. Always loved, never forgotten by her nieces, nephews, relatives, many dear friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Sunday from 5pm with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Monday arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.
