Attracta Whiteley née McDermott, St. Patricks Terrace, Portarlington, Co. Offaly. Formerly Ellistown, Rathangan and Piercetown, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Peacefully, 20th October 2026, surrounded by her loving family, at Naas Hospital. Recently predeceased by her husband Jack, also her parents Thomas and Sarah, and her sister Leila. Attracta will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children Niall, Niamh, Ciaran and Sarah, son-in-law Kristof, daughters-in-law Trisha, Helen and Danielle, adoring grandchildren Caoimhe, Fiadh, Caelàn, Hayley, Holly, Louise and Jack, brother Enda, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her son Niall’s residence Knavinstown, Kildare (R51 XN51) on Thursday (22nd October) from 3pm – 8pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St. Conleths Parish Church, Newbridge for requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Conleths cemetery, Newbridge. Attracta’s Funeral Mass will be live-streamed through the webstream link below.
